Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain residential/commercial plumbing systems including fixtures, pipes, and water heaters
- Diagnose plumbing issues using advanced diagnostic tools and provide cost-effective solutions
- Interpret blueprints and technical specifications to ensure code-compliant installations
- Perform emergency plumbing services during weekends/nights as part of on-call rotation
- Manage inventory and order materials for assigned projects
- Train apprentices on best practices and safety protocols
- Document all work orders, material usage, and client communications
- Conduct routine maintenance checks for high-value commercial accounts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional plumbing experience with residential and commercial systems
- Valid DC Master Plumber license (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- OSHA 10 certification and EPA 608 certification required
- Proficiency with trenchless pipe repair and video inspection technologies
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined spaces
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Experience managing plumbing projects with budgets over $10,000
- Strong customer service skills with ability to explain technical issues clearly
