Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate heavy equipment safely (backhoes, forklifts, excavators) with proper certifications
- Assist carpenters, masons, and welders with material installation and structural assembly
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, organized work environments
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specifications
- Perform quality control checks and report discrepancies to supervisors
- Manage inventory of tools and materials on-site
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of construction labor experience or trade apprenticeship
- Valid OSHA 30-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Class B CDL license preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of construction materials and methods
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and follow strict safety protocols
- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
