Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with daily site operations and tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from the job site.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground as directed.
- Operate basic hand and power tools under the supervision of experienced personnel.
- Mix concrete, sand, and gravel to prepare for masonry work.
- Ensure all job sites adhere to strict safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.
- Perform general cleanup duties to maintain a safe and organized work environment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic math skills and ability to read simple measurements.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work well within a team.
