Responsibilities
- Material Management: Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites efficiently and safely.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up scaffolding and temporary structures.
- Tool Operation: Operate power tools, hand tools, and light machinery under supervision to support framing, finishing, and installation tasks.
- Site Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety standards and waste disposal protocols.
- Trade Support: Provide on-site assistance to skilled tradespeople, including carpenters, electricians, and masons.
- Measurement & Layout: Assist with basic measurements, marking, and layout tasks as directed by the foreman or project manager.
- Weather Adaptability: Perform duties in various weather conditions, ensuring continuous productivity and safety on the job site.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs repeatedly and standing for long durations.
- Driver's License: A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required for daily travel to different job sites.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred; however, we are willing to train motivated candidates with a strong work ethic.
- Safety Compliance: Strong commitment to workplace safety and the ability to follow established safety protocols and instructions.
- Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with supervisors and team members.
- Teamwork: Must work well in a collaborative environment and support fellow crew members.
