Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation tasks including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) and heavy equipment safely
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material installation
- Maintain clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant job sites
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions precisely
- Perform safety inspections and report hazards immediately
- Collaborate with diverse teams to meet project deadlines
- Participate in emergency response drills and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification required (training provided)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic math skills for measurements and material calculations
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and overtime
- Pass pre-employment physical and drug screening
- Experience with concrete, masonry, or framing a plus
