Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site preparation
- Operate hand/power tools and construction equipment safely
- Follow blueprints and supervisor instructions precisely
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and adhere to OSHA safety standards
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, etc.) with project execution
- Conduct equipment pre-use inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines efficiently
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years construction/labor experience required
- Valid OSHA 10-Hour Construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials
- Strong work ethic and punctuality with reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Experience with concrete work, demolition, or scaffolding a plus
