Responsibilities
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris and setting up barriers
- Assist skilled trades with tasks like concrete pouring and framing
- Operate hand tools (shovels, hammers, saws) and power equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on active work zones
- Follow OSHA safety protocols at all times
- Complete daily progress reports for supervisors
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs)
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions
- Ability to follow verbal instructions precisely
- Preferable: Previous construction or warehouse experience
