Responsibilities
- Assist journeyman electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Perform basic electrical tasks including stripping wire, connecting circuits, and installing outlets and fixtures.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Transport tools and materials to various job sites efficiently.
- Document work performed accurately and report any safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and mechanical aptitude is a plus.
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, on ladders, and in varying weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal transportation.
- Must be willing to obtain required state licensing and certifications upon completion of training.
