Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, leveling ground, and setting up safety barriers
- Load/unload heavy materials and equipment using proper lifting techniques
- Assist skilled tradespeople in carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Operate hand/power tools safely including saws, drills, and jackhammers
- Maintain clean work areas and comply with OSHA safety standards
- Erect scaffolding, temporary structures, and assist in site layout
- Perform general site maintenance and emergency repairs as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
