Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, masons, electricians) with tool setup and material handling
- Operate heavy machinery including jackhammers, earth tampers, and concrete saws under supervision
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety protocols and maintain clean, hazard-free work zones
- Load/un trucks and manage inventory of construction supplies
- Complete daily site inspections and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience or vocational training certification
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Basic hand/power tool proficiency
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Flexibility to work weekends and overtime as required
