Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality electrical installation, maintenance, and repair on commercial and industrial sites throughout Boston.
- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to plan projects accurately.
- Ensure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) standards.
- Conduct thorough inspections and safety audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical systems to resolve operational issues efficiently.
- Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials, and project progress.
- Lead and mentor junior electricians and apprentices on the job site.
Qualifications
- Valid Master Electrician license issued by the State of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of verifiable experience in commercial and industrial electrical work.
- Deep knowledge of NEC codes, local building regulations, and electrical theory.
- Strong proficiency in reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting under tight deadlines.
- Current, valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
