Responsibilities
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling
- Operate basic equipment like jackhammers, saws, and drills
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications
- Maintain clean, organized work areas per OSHA standards
- Report safety hazards and equipment malfunctions
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and physical labor in varied weather
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Basic tool proficiency (hammers, levels, saws)
- Physical stamina for outdoor work in Kansas conditions
