Responsibilities
- Execute construction tasks including demolition, excavation, and site preparation
- Operate heavy machinery (excavators, forklifts) and hand/power tools safely
- Load/unload materials and maintain organized job site layouts
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and report hazards immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines
- Perform general cleanup and waste management procedures
- Assist skilled tradespersons with specialized tasks as needed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Basic blueprint reading skills
- Availability for 10-hour night shifts (6 PM - 4 AM)
- Strong problem-solving and communication abilities
- Reliable transportation to job sites
