Responsibilities
- Execute site preparation, excavation, and material handling tasks
- Operate power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist skilled tradespersons with carpentry, masonry, and finishing work
- Maintain clean, organized job sites per OSHA standards
- Read blueprints and follow project specifications precisely
- Perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and operate light machinery
- Participate in daily safety briefings and toolbox talks
Qualifications
- Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks in all weather conditions
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic tool proficiency and mechanical aptitude
- Ability to pass pre-employment background/drug screening
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Experience with concrete, rebar, or framing preferred
