Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople with daily construction tasks and site preparation.
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and trailers.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools safely under supervision.
- Perform site cleanup, including debris removal and ensuring work areas are organized.
- Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations to maintain a hazard-free environment.
- Measure, cut, and prepare building materials as directed by foremen.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Basic math skills for measuring and cutting materials.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Strong desire to learn and grow within the construction industry.
