Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris, excavating, and grading areas for construction projects.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under the supervision of a foreman or project manager.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety standards and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Task Execution: Perform general labor tasks such as concrete pouring, framing assistance, or drywall hanging as directed.
- Site Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of safety hazards at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) and standing for extended periods.
- Driver's License: A valid Driver's License and a clean driving record are required for site access and transportation.
- Experience: Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not mandatory; training is provided.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Background Check: Ability to pass a standard background check and drug screening.
- Communication: Basic ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
