Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, carrying, and lifting heavy materials to designated areas.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various on-site construction activities.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work site in strict compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks and secure them properly.
- Follow blueprints and site instructions to ensure project accuracy and quality.
- Perform site cleanup and prepare areas for the next phase of construction.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic math skills for measuring materials and calculating quantities.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as project schedules require.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
