Responsibilities
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and site storage areas.
- Operate power tools, hand tools, and light machinery (forklifts, skid steers) safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Perform site preparation, including digging, leveling, concrete pouring, and rough framing.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to all OSHA safety standards.
- Follow blueprints and instructions from site supervisors to ensure project accuracy.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends as project demands require.
