Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks and setups.
- Perform general site cleanup, including debris removal and site preparation before and after shifts.
- Operate basic construction equipment and machinery under supervision, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Measure, cut, and handle lumber and other raw materials accurately.
- Adhere to all safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety equipment is a plus but not required.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
