Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in residential/commercial properties
- Lead emergency response for burst pipes, leaks, and drainage failures
- Read blueprints and schematics to execute complex installations
- Manage inventory and order materials for project efficiency
- Ensure compliance with DC plumbing codes and safety regulations
- Mentor apprentices and junior technicians
- Prepare detailed project reports and client invoices
- Collaborate with construction teams on renovation projects
Qualifications
- DC Master Plumber license (required)
- 5+ years commercial/residential plumbing experience
- Expertise in pipefitting, fixture installation, and system diagnostics
- OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50lbs and work in confined spaces
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Proficiency with plumbing diagnostic tools and software
