Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and distribute construction materials, tools, and equipment to designated work areas efficiently.
- Site Preparation: Prepare job sites by digging, leveling, and clearing debris to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assistance: Provide direct assistance to skilled tradespeople, including framing, drywalling, and rough-in tasks.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools (e.g., saws, drills) under strict supervision.
- Maintenance: Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with OSHA safety standards at all times.
Qualifications
- License: Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
- Experience: Prior construction labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train enthusiastic candidates.
- Physical Demands: Must be physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
- Tools: Basic set of personal hand tools is recommended.
