Responsibilities
- Perform general labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting materials to and from the job site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various construction activities.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and correctly.
- Prepare job sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in strict compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, diagrams, and site plans under supervision.
- Perform physical labor in all weather conditions, including standing, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Previous construction experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cohesive team.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to company protocols.
