Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor on active construction sites, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools (shovels, saws, levels) safely and efficiently.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and comply with OSHA safety standards at all times.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks using forklifts or hand trucks.
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions provided by site supervisors and project managers.
- Perform general site preparation, including grading, tamping, and debris removal.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; a strong work ethic is more important than formal education.
- Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to commute to job sites.
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required (we offer on-the-job training).
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and be available for various shifts.
- Safety-conscious attitude and the ability to work well within a team environment.
