Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, carpenters, plumbers) with various on-site tasks.
- Maintain a clean and safe job site by sweeping, shoveling, and removing debris.
- Operate power tools and basic construction equipment safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Perform basic measurements and assist in layout tasks under supervision.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety (OSHA standards is a plus).
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
