Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications
- Assist senior electricians in troubleshooting electrical faults and ensuring code compliance
- Use hand and power tools safely to run wiring, connect fixtures, and test circuits
- Document work progress and maintain accurate job records
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Participate in ongoing skills training and certification programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior electrical experience necessary - training provided!
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Physical ability to work in confined spaces, climb ladders, and lift 50+ lbs
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to obtain California Electrician Trainee certification
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
