Responsibilities
- Perform heavy lifting, digging, and material transport at construction sites
- Assist skilled tradesmen with concrete pouring, framing, and finishing tasks
- Operate hand/power tools safely (saws, drills, jackhammers)
- Maintain clean, organized work areas following OSHA guidelines
- Read blueprints and execute supervisor instructions precisely
- Complete daily timekeeping and equipment maintenance logs
- Adhere to strict safety protocols in all weather conditions
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year construction labor experience preferred
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly throughout shifts
- Flexible availability for early morning/weekend assignments
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Basic math skills for material measurements
- Strong communication in English (Spanish a plus)
