Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Clear and prepare construction sites for daily operations and ensure a safe work environment.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize lumber, concrete, drywall, and other building materials efficiently.
- Tool Operation: Safely handle and maintain a variety of hand tools and power equipment.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople including carpenters, electricians, and masons on various tasks.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free job site at all times.
- Measurement: Assist in measuring, cutting, and fitting materials to meet project specifications.
- Heavy Lifting: Perform physical tasks requiring the lifting of heavy objects and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy loads (50+ lbs) repeatedly and stand for long periods.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Experience: Prior construction experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, hardworking, and a strong team player.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Weather Tolerance: Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
