Responsibilities
- Assist in site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up safety barriers
- Operate hand/power tools under supervisor guidance (hammers, saws, etc.)
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment safely
- Maintain clean and organized job sites throughout workday
- Follow all OSHA safety protocols and wear required PPE
- Support skilled trades with material handling and basic tasks
- Participate in daily team briefings and safety meetings
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and authorized to work in the US
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Valid driver's license preferred (not required)
- Reliable transportation to job sites within Houston
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards
- Positive attitude and commitment to punctuality
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening
