Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely.
- Assistance: Support skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with daily tasks.
- Maintenance: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards.
- Tool Operation: Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic heavy machinery under supervision.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must have a strong work ethic and be punctual.
- Driver's License: Valid driver’s license is preferred but not always required.
- Experience: Previous construction experience is a plus, but we provide on-the-job training for motivated individuals.
- Attitude: Willingness to learn new skills and work in various weather conditions.
