Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites safely.
- Site Support: Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various tasks as needed.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers (training provided).
- Cleanup: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by removing debris and trash regularly.
- Site Safety: Adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Measurement: Assist with measuring, cutting, and fitting materials to specifications.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Reliability: Punctual and consistent attendance record is required.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to understand and follow instructions.
- Driver's License: Valid driver's license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Willingness to Learn: A positive attitude and eagerness to learn new trades.
- Background: No prior construction experience necessary; we will train you.
