Responsibilities
- Execute manual labor tasks including excavation, material handling, and site cleanup
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) under supervisor guidance
- Assist skilled tradesmen with carpentry, masonry, and concrete work
- Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols and site regulations
- Read and interpret basic construction blueprints and measurements
- Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, barriers, and equipment
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Valid US driver's license and reliable transportation
- Minimum 6 months construction/labor experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks
- Basic math skills for measurement and material calculations
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Fluent English communication skills
- Availability for early morning starts (5:30 AM-6:00 AM)
