Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople with various tasks, including framing, drywalling, and finishing.
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and generators safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in strict compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Measure, cut, and shape wood, concrete, and other materials to project specifications.
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and prepare areas for construction activities.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Physically capable of performing manual labor for extended periods, including lifting heavy objects.
- Basic understanding of construction safety protocols and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow detailed instructions.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
