Responsibilities
- Perform general site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and clearing debris.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of construction materials and tools.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow project blueprints and instructions from foremen to ensure structural accuracy.
- Adhere to strict OSHA safety standards and site protocols at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to prevent accidents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Valid New York State driver’s license.
- Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly.
- Previous experience in construction labor or related trades is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings and weekends.
