Responsibilities
- Site Preparation & Maintenance: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, grading land, and setting up temporary structures.
- Material Handling: Safely load, unload, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment according to safety protocols.
- Assistance with Trades: Support skilled tradespeople, including carpenters and electricians, with various manual tasks such as mixing concrete, carrying lumber, and digging.
- Equipment Operation: Operate basic construction machinery and hand tools under supervision to ensure smooth workflow.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety standards and company guidelines to maintain a hazard-free work environment.
- Cleanliness: Keep job sites clean and organized to ensure efficiency and safety for all team members.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in general labor or construction is preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
- Physical Stamina: Must be physically fit to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Driver’s License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and a pre-employment drug screen.
- Attitude: Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a strong team-oriented mindset.
