Responsibilities
- Perform heavy manual labor including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, and masons) with various tasks to ensure project efficiency.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and in accordance with company protocols.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and setting up temporary structures.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area, ensuring compliance with OSHA safety standards.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and cleanup duties at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; trade school certification is a plus.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow direct instructions.
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen.
- Previous experience in construction or general labor is preferred but not required.
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
