Responsibilities
- Assist carpenters, masons, and other trades with material handling and site preparation
- Operate basic hand/power tools safely and effectively
- Maintain clean and organized job sites per safety protocols
- Read and interpret simple construction drawings and instructions
- Perform general site cleanup, debris removal, and waste management
- Adhere to all OSHA safety standards and company policies
- Complete daily time sheets and safety checklists accurately
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic tool knowledge or willingness to learn quickly
- Punctual attendance and strong work ethic required
- Ability to follow verbal instructions and work independently
- Previous construction experience preferred but not required
- Must have own basic safety gear (steel-toe boots, work gloves)
