Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with various construction tasks on-site.
- Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Operate basic construction machinery and power tools, including saws, drills, and compressors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA safety regulations.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, hauling, and debris removal.
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project plans to understand task requirements.
- Adhere to all company policies and quality control standards on every project.
Qualifications
- Physically fit and able to perform heavy labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation to the job site.
- Basic math skills and the ability to read a tape measure.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
