Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and stack lumber, bricks, concrete, and other building materials safely and efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Operate power tools, forklifts, and other heavy machinery under supervision.
- Site Preparation: Clear work areas, dig trenches, and prepare surfaces for foundations and structures.
- Assistance: Assist skilled tradespeople (electricians, plumbers, framers) with various on-site tasks.
- Maintenance: Keep job sites clean, organized, and free of hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
- Measurement: Measure and cut materials to required specifications using hand and power tools.
Qualifications
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods.
- Experience: Prior construction or labor experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidates.
- License: Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required.
- Tools: Basic knowledge of hand tools (hammers, drills, levels) is preferred.
- Safety: Must adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime when necessary.
