Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks such as digging, lifting, and carrying construction materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily operations.
- Load and unload trucks and materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Operate basic construction tools and equipment under supervision.
- Follow all verbal and written instructions from site supervisors.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment issues immediately.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs) repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Physically fit and able to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- Valid Driver’s License is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Basic knowledge of construction site safety is a plus.
- Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic.
