Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Perform site cleanup, debris removal, and excavation duties.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely.
- Ensure all work areas remain clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Transport heavy materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual labor.
- Follow verbal and written instructions from foremen and supervisors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects (up to 50+ lbs) repeatedly.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols (OSHA preferred).
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Physically fit and willing to work in various weather conditions.
- Valid Driver’s License is a plus.
