Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties including digging, lifting, and loading materials onto and off of trucks.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with various tasks on the job site.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing debris, hazards, and ensuring proper site organization.
- Operate basic construction equipment and power tools safely and efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and diagrams to understand project requirements.
- Follow all company safety protocols and OSHA regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Perform site preparation tasks such as concrete pouring, framing support, and landscaping.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred; equivalent experience is accepted.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and push heavy objects weighing up to 50+ lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions, including heat, rain, and cold.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Basic math skills for measurements and material estimates.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Experience in construction, landscaping, or general labor is a plus but not required.
