Responsibilities
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling the ground.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Machinery Operation: Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts, skid steers, and jackhammers under supervision.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by removing waste and debris at the end of each shift.
- Assisting Trades: Support electricians, carpenters, and plumbers with necessary tasks on the job site.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and perform manual labor for long periods.
- Driver's License: Valid state-issued driver's license and reliable transportation required.
- Experience: Prior experience in construction labor, landscaping, or general labor is preferred but not mandatory.
- Communication: Ability to follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors.
- Safety Mindset: Must be safety-conscious and willing to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time hours, including weekends and overtime if needed.
