Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and stack construction materials (bricks, lumber, drywall) at job sites.
- Assist in general site preparation, including excavation, leveling, and cleanup.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and site-specific safety protocols.
- Transport heavy items using dollies, hand trucks, or forklifts when necessary.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and other crew members to coordinate tasks.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Ability to perform physical labor for long periods, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of construction safety practices is preferred.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and the ability to work well in a team environment.
