Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating hand tools
- Assist skilled tradesmen (carpenters, masons, electricians) on residential/commercial sites
- Maintain clean and organized job sites, including debris removal and equipment storage
- Follow strict safety protocols and wear provided protective gear
- Read and interpret basic blueprints and project instructions
- Operate light machinery (concrete mixers, power tools) with proper certification
- Report site issues and progress to site supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction safety standards (OSHA 10 certification preferred)
- Previous construction or landscaping experience preferred but not required
- Must provide own basic hand tools (hammer, tape measure, utility knife)
- Willingness to travel between Jacksonville, FL and Georgia sites
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
