Responsibilities
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily tasks.
- Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Follow all safety protocols and site regulations to ensure a hazard-free environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Perform basic measurements and assist with basic carpentry or concrete work.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction labor or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
- Strong work ethic and team-oriented attitude.
- Basic math skills for measuring and ordering materials.
