Responsibilities
- Operate Machinery: Safely and effectively operate heavy machinery and power tools, including forklifts, jackhammers, and generators.
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from the job site using trucks, dollies, and cranes.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing job sites by digging trenches, leveling ground, and clearing debris.
- Safety Compliance: Strictly adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and site protocols to maintain a hazard-free environment for all crew members.
- General Labor: Perform a variety of manual tasks including mixing concrete, sanding, painting, and cleaning work areas.
- Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with foremen and other tradespeople to ensure project milestones are met on time.
Qualifications
- Experience: Prior experience in general construction, landscaping, or warehouse labor is preferred but not required (we provide on-the-job training).
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, stand for extended periods, and work in various weather conditions.
- Tools: Familiarity with basic hand tools and measuring equipment is a plus.
- License: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Attitude: A strong work ethic, reliability, and a commitment to safety.
