Responsibilities
- Perform site preparation including excavation, grading, and material handling
- Operate hand/power tools (saws, drills, jackhammers) safely and efficiently
- Assist carpenters and masons with framing, concrete pouring, and masonry work
- Follow blueprints and verbal instructions to execute construction tasks
- Maintain clean and organized job sites while adhering to OSHA safety standards
- Load/unload construction materials and equipment as needed
- Complete daily reports and documentation of work performed
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of construction or general labor experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred (training available)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
- Basic math skills for material measurements and calculations
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends
