Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery and power tools safely and efficiently according to standard operating procedures.
- Load and unload construction materials from delivery trucks and organize them on-site.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, masons) with various on-site tasks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site by removing debris and trash regularly.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols at all times.
- Perform basic site preparation, including digging, leveling, and concrete finishing.
- Communicate effectively with foremen and team members to ensure project goals are met.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Valid Driver's License and reliable personal transportation.
- Basic math skills and ability to read and understand basic safety instructions.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions (heat, rain, cold).
- No prior experience required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
