Responsibilities
- Perform physical labor tasks including loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, etc.) with daily operations.
- Operate basic construction equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site in compliance with OSHA regulations.
- Assist with site preparation, including digging, leveling, and debris removal.
- Follow all safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Communicate effectively with team leads and site managers to ensure project milestones are met.
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods, including lifting up to 50+ lbs and standing on your feet.
- Basic understanding of construction safety standards and willingness to wear PPE.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Basic math skills for measuring and estimating materials.
- Positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
- Valid driver’s license is preferred but not always required.
