Responsibilities
- Material Handling: Load, unload, and organize construction materials, tools, and equipment on job sites.
- Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by clearing debris, digging trenches, and leveling ground.
- Equipment Support: Operate basic construction machinery and power tools under supervision to aid in the construction process.
- Site Cleanup: Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to OSHA safety standards and removing waste materials.
- Trade Assistance: Support journeyman workers by performing tasks such as mixing concrete, carrying lumber, or holding materials.
- Quality Control: Assist in basic quality checks to ensure work meets project specifications and client requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we provide on-the-job training for eager learners.
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) for extended periods in various weather conditions.
- Availability: Must be available to work full-time, including weekends and overtime as project demands require.
- License: Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation are preferred.
- Attitude: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols.
